Metrolina Library Association hosted its first ever Instructional Technology Summit. The event was free to the pubic. Members of the MLA board demonstrated some cutting-edge, FREE tools to facilitate library instruction. The following programs were demonstrated by members of the board:

Jessamyn West is a well-known library blogger whose avant-guard views on librarianship and 'information justice' has caused a stir in the library world. She lives in rural Vermont and assists libraries in adapting to the digital age. Ms. West is an independent library consultant and advocate of freedom of information. We look forward to her presence at the conference.
