Emily Nanney, Education Leader at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, will discuss how CML transitioned physical programs into a virtual format.
Ashley Lowrimore, Public Relations Coordinator at the Native American Studies Center at the University of South Carolina, will talk about how the Center transitioned its Lunch and Learn Series from in-person to Zoom.
Kristine Robinson, Administrative & Instructional Librarian at Belmont Abbey College, will talk about how librarians at Belmont Abbey College re-created FYS Library Orientation for the digital world.
About Our Panel
Ashley Lowrimore joined the Native American Studies Center at the University of South Carolina as Public Relations Coordinator in the summer of 2017. A graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, she earned a B.A. degree in Mass Communication with a focus in public relations. She began her career at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia, working in the Public Relations and Public Programs Departments. Ashley also has worked as a freelance writer for the Carolina Gateway and The Lancaster News for over seven years. Her work experience has given her an appreciation for telling the story of South Carolina and its people, and she enjoys promoting the Center’s exhibits and events.
Kristine Robinson has been interested in libraries and education for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies in 2017 and a Master of Library & Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2018. Kristine has gained experience working in special collections, academic libraries, and archives. Currently, she is an Administrative & Instructional Librarian at Belmont Abbey College, where she tackles administrative duties and conducts library instruction sessions and research consultations.
