Metrolina Spring Event: Speed Mentoring

Registration will close Tuesday, April 25, at 5:00 PM.

Join Metrolina Library Association for a night of connection, networking, and mentorship. Mentees will sit down for short, one-on-one conversations with experienced mentors from a variety of libraries.

• Career Advice and Guidance
• Public Library Leadership
• School Librarianship
• Special Librarianship

What should I expect from speed mentoring? 

Mentees will have the opportunity to gain insight from library experts. You will have the opportunity to sit down and have a brief, purposeful conversation with each mentor. You can ask your own questions, or choose a question from MLA’s prepared prompts. 

When your time is up with one mentor, you will be instructed to move to the next mentor and continue. This helps maximize connections for all mentees, and creates a fun atmosphere!
